Mary Ablaza is a young, up and coming artist who is focused on the NOW!
Contemporary, alternative youth culture is Mary’s inspiration, and as a woman with autism, her interest is particularly intense. Mary’s extensive body of work involves a dynamic collage of images from alternative magazines along with the artist’s own photography. Throughout these images stream her written reflections on the world.
On Wednesday July 1st Mary will launch her first solo exhibition at Cream on King in Newtown. This edgy, vintage clothing store is the perfect venue for her eclectic range of work. Included with this letter is an invitation to the exhibition, along with a description from Mary herself. At the opening Mary will be there in person ready to discuss her work.
